FLORETS

When: February 15, 2026 - 16:00

The Erotic Album (FLORETS, 2025) is a unique photo-/poetry-book that pairs with a musical album. The multimedia collection by Berlin Boudoir and Berlin Nocturnes (Madhvi Ramani, Lutz Gallmeister and Monika Kozub) will connect you to the pleasure, tenderness, and creative power of the erotic through soundpoems and vibrant visuals.

Join the artists behind this project for an intimate discussion in the warm space of Ivallan’s Books. We’ll explore the making of this music-art-poetry book, the power (and accompanying stigmas) of expressing the erotic, and how each artist explored it through their own processes and mediums. Bring your friends and lovers for this sexy post-Valentine’s day experience. This is a limited edition book, with only 169 copies. They are available to buy Ivallan’s now.

Madhvi Ramani writes articles, essays, fiction, and uses storytelling to expand political, creative, and emotional awareness. Her latest children’s book “Whisper, Shout, Let it Out” (Macmillan, 2023) encourages children to experiment with their voices. It was shortlisted for the BookTrust Storytime Prize 2025, and featured on the BBC. Her work explores the body, feminism, and new ways to tell stories.

Lutz Gallmeister composes for dance performances, theatre, film and art installations. In 2021 he developed and produced “Project [a]”, a sound and video installation with a dance performance involving over 40 international artists, on the theme of human rights. It premiered at the Kronenboden project spaces in Berlin and the Memorial da Resistência (Resistance Museum) in São Paulo, Brazil. Most recently he has completed projects for Theatrehaus Overhausen, and worked on his own album as a singer-songwriter. His work focuses on socially critical issues.

Monika Kozub, also known as Berlin Boudoir, is a multidisciplinary artist and visual storyteller based in Berlin. She explores the diverse spectrum of beauty in the world, placing emphasis on themes of nature and sexuality as means of empowerment for women. Her work celebrates the raw, the bold, and the sensual, inviting us to spark deeper connections—with ourselves, our bodies, each other, and the natural world—and prompting us to rethink the norms that shape our perceptions.
